& lenses since 2002. We are a small staff made of our manager & lab tech with over 45 years of experience and Lead Optician of 8 years. We are seeking a new Optical Retail Associate!

Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service to every patient, while guiding each customer to their best frame & lens fit.

We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, and inviting atmosphere where questions are always encouraged.

Pro Vision Center is seeking an individual to help us achieve our mission statement. Optical, medical, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but NOT necessary. A drive for learning IS a requirement. We do all training on site, with Hoya, and the combined knowledge from our helpful, and friendly staff.

Your role will be to:

• Greet each patient in a timely manner
• Finding patients insurance benefits, informing patients in or out-of-network coverage
• Assisting patients with frame selection
• Interpreting patients prescription
• Build and maintain relationships with the patients while providing a welcoming and warm environment
• Being attentive to details; reviewing prescriptions and/or patient information carefully
• Measuring for fit
• Frame adjustments and/or repairs
• Problem-solving & creative thinking
• Verifying types of lenses, and prescription
• Basic POS & computer knowledge
• Office duties- filing, organizing frames, light cleaning, answering phones, sanitizing frames.

*No experience is needed, we are happy to train you to become the next best Optician in Maine.

Our ideal candidate will have the following credentials/skills:

● High School or GED
● Sales
● Customer Service
● Optical Sales

The salary range for this position is starting at $16 per hour (plus bonus/commission) depending on the level of experience being an Optician (higher hourly wage for more experience). We offer the following benefits:
